This MIDI Remote Script for Ableton Live is intended as a mixing surface.
As you can see, the first column allows you to select a track, adjust the volume, and arm it (you
will see the selected track highlighted).
The second and third column relate to sends and returns. Send A and Send B apply to the track you
have selected, and the faders relate to the volume of the A& B return tracks. The buttons under these
allow the user to expand and collapse groups.
The fourth column relates to the Main/Master track. The button on the bottom toggles the metronome,
and the knob on top adjusts the metronome volume. Of course, the fader adjusts the main/master volume.
The device inclueds with multiple pages of parameters, but only the 1st (blue LED) page has mappings
applied. Other pages are left blank (for now), and can be used for MIDI mapping.
Grid devices by Intech Studio are modular controllers that connect to each other using strong magnetic side-links, allowing multiple modules to share power and reduce the number of USB ports you need. They also snap together
seamlessly with other Grid variants like the EN16, PO16, TEK2, and more..
For an extremely small footprint, these things pack a punch. I will be definitely get a couple more as I continue to maximize space and intent in the studio!
